Corrective Actions
Description

Whether as a result of Accident Investigations, Compliance Checks, Risk Assessments, Committee Meetings or Safety Checks the eVolution Corrective Actions system tracks tasks, and reports on progress.

Tasks are passed automatically from modules such as Accident Reporting or entered manually and management information includes key performance statistics on average completion times, tasks completed each week, and tasks completed by operative.

Key features

The key features in the eVolution module include the:

(1) manual submission of corrective actions online from sources, such as accident reports, safety or management inspections, risk assessments, safety committee meetings, non-conformance reports, audits, etc;

(2) automatic submission from sub-systems (when installed) such as Accident Reporting, and Compliance;

(3) classification of tasks by priority, and safety critical scale;

(4) assignment of staff responsibility and target dates for the implementation of the corrective action and details on the current execution status;

(5) functionality to circulate actions within the organisation for review and approval of information prior to proceeding to the next step. For example, approval or authorization by management or finance;

(6) flagging of overdue corrective and preventive actions;

(7) provision of Management Information for corrective and preventive actions tracking within a location or department. Actions are analysed by source, date raised, status, priority, execution status, and safety critical ranking.

Benefits

Corrective and preventive actions management is one of the most critical tasks of any quality-minded organisation. This is increasingly true for the industry sectors which must comply with quality standards and legislation regulations. eVolution provides a systematic and comprehensive approach to handling these actions.
