Employee Direct
Description
The eVolution Employee Direct system comprises a series of everyday workflow processes for employees to enter personal details, holiday requests, timesheeets (if appropriate) and absenteeism self-certification.
Employee Handbooks are accessible on-line and an optional FAQ section is available for HR, Payroll and Pensions departments.
This module requires the eVolution Workflow Product.
Key Features
Holidays
(1) displays the holiday entitlement, holiday already taken in the current year and is used to submit holidays request for authorisation by (if appropriate) line managers before ultimate submission to HR. All previous holiday requests are available for employee review;
Personal updates
(2) used to submit updates for address/tel. nos, emergency contacts, and bank accounts;
Self-Certification
(3) on return to work allows employees to complete the Self-Certification process for submission to potentially Line Managers, HR and Payroll.
Timesheets
(4) used to monitor core hours, holiday hours, overtime hours and the rolling average hours for the Working Time Directive.

(1) reduction in processing costs through clerical and administrative saving. Once in the system forms, attachments and notes are not lost and the progress of, for example, a holiday request can easily be tracked from Employee, to Line Manager and HR;
