Training Needs Analysis
Description
Training plans completed for individuals, teams, departments and company-wide are essential elements for process improvement, profitability improvement, quality assurance, customer service, team success and many other CSF's.
The purpose of eVolution is to provide assessors/implementators with a tool to:
(a) document the difference between effective behaviour (in terms of skills, attitudes and knowledge) and the state of employee (or team) ineffectiveness (or shortfall in necessary or desired skills or behaviour);
(b) develop training plans for individuals and teams;
(c) identify employees and teams with required skills and competencies.
Key Features
eVolution includes features to:
(1) log skills, competences, and qualifications for each employee. eVolution separates on-the-job training and courses completed internally and externally. Skills can be graded and a 'ladder of competence' recorded as progress is achieved;
(2) create an establishment profile for each post with the desired skills, competencies and qualifications to fulfil the requirements of the job.Needs can also reflect organisational, and team level requirements. ;
(3) attribute each employee to a post(s);
(4) produces gap analysis and training plans for individuals and teams. Logs training, learning and development needs obtained, for example, through interviews, observation, and self-assessment;
(5) retain historical training plans for reference and achievement analysis.
Optionally eVolution can receive training input from the Performance Appraisal module and export requirements to the Training Administration module. Surveying can also be conducted electronically using the Workflow module.
